This may be a bit premature but I wanted to get some ideas down before I forget them. Where are the holiday enhanced winter hats? Knit Beanie and I think the Barelhead hat. The newbie one that you get during male character creation. Also, mittens! Drop rate for Rubies seemed better this year, but that can be luck and such in my case. Also, how about a quest for better items with better buffs?

Here's what I mean about the beanies:

The collector in Bathary as well as lots of the bathary boys wear this hat. How about in red, too. Also, I like a lot of the clothes we got this year, but I would like them better with level appropriate resistances. How about versions with 33-36 points for lvl 50s and similar for lvl 40s and 30s?

The resistances are just fine considering what you have to do to get the items. Aside from winter/archive type gear there are only a few items that have all four resistances. Most of those items have 25pts to each resistance and are much harder to get. The only item I can think of that has over 30 is Valfreya's Shield which has 36pts to each resistance and no other buffs.

i took that into consideration. I'd be willing to do lots more to get these items with better buffs. I think others would be, too.

Well that's fine but the text I originally quoted was suggesting an improvement on the existing gear.

The only thing about a harder quest, is the work thats put into it is only for a limited time of year, which in the players cause would be cool to have a hard to get item but content wise isn't very logical.

Personally, I'd like to see some of the current items with better buffs. For example, Red Boots lvl 50, Red boots lvl 40, etc.

Something along the lines of the Valkyrja quest is very feasable and can be re-run several times during a 6 week period. Something like the Corruptor quest for the Patcher Headgear would obviously be very illogical for a 6 week period.

some people dont have the time to do anything harder. Thats why they are the way they are. You have to take into consideration those of us that actually do something for the holidays, and dont spend all of our time playing mxo.
