Yeah, I don't get it..

MxO is the best MMO I have ever played, actually to be honest all he others I have tried have been lame in comparison. I don't know why SOE would let all the work they've done just go to waste. Its such a shame, it blows my mind.

I understand its a pure business decision, clearly MxO wasn't making enough money. And the development required to allow users to use the server software is probably way to expensive.. Not to mention any proprietary code they may not want released.. But still, I'm pretty sure SOE aren't exactly bleeding money, and I would think that with all of the money the other MMO's were pulling in they could subsidise at minimum 1 server.

I was farming around the boss, admittedly hitting all the NPC's regardless of rank..

I'm guessing the drop rate must be really low.. like 2%

I know its probably been bought up a million times before...

But what is the go with Red frag drops? I've been farming for 2 hours now, I've killed about 80-100 NPC's and got 2 Frags!
I love this game, but seriously, this really gets on my nerves..

Just wondering if anyone has an updated Fansitekit, that includes all the new stuff since the last one. Specifically things like new Ability Icons, Sati's ToyBox icons, Decaying/Corrupted Code icons, Headless Fragment icons, Andvaranaut icons, and any other new icons or sound bytes..

If not, is there any chance SOE may release one?? (PLEASE!)

I was in the ZLF faction on Syntax.. Don't think there is many of those guys around anymore, but am looking forward to logging in and seeing whats changed.

+1 Sounds like a great idea!

Only one prob i can see;

1) Possible increase in lag around hardlines due to people fighting in such close proximity.
(Maybe it would be better to have 'Neighbourhood markers' similar to Access nodes, this would alliviate congestion around said HL's and could encompass more than one HL (eg for your 10 total 'areas')

I did have another about global control and timezones, but apon further analysis if a single faction did take a whole area (ie Downtown) their numbers would be divided amoungst attacking factions, and hence I believe balance would naturally ensue...

We should also mention we have some very active PvPers.
As mentioned above several of our members have been playing since beta, so we are both familar with the game, and very active in events. We try and make the game fun and enjoyable, as it should be.
We play all areas and facets of the game; we mish, we do archives, exile hideouts, collector hunts, node/HL hunting, farming.. we PvP, OvO, special events, community events, server events, we do it all.
We have our forums for communicating info about the game, as well as a bit of friendly banter..
Above all we have a great bunch of players, all enthusiastic, and matrix fans.

If you wanna join, contact one of the guys above and have a run with us in game..

I totally agree.
I don't see a need to have to carry all my clothes and items around. I'm sure in the movie the characters didn't carry 20 sets of clothes. After all, everything in the Matrix is just code. It should be storable like code.
We should be able to upload ALL of our inventory, clothes included, in the Loading area.

Messages from SOE to advise when items are no longer usable, such as Halloween masks, Neo's Insight etc etc, would be good too. I have serveral slots used by items which I hang on to 'just in case'.

Its not much, Its only 4-5 guys mixing it up at the moment, (we have only been broadcasting for a few days.. so are still sorting bugs..) But its good fun and good tunes. As our members are all over the world we broadcast at different times, and ocassionally may have a few hrs of static.. but someone will alway pick it up.

Been on since 10/10/04.. Early Beta starter..

It has come alllllong way.. But I have to agree with previous posters..
The Beta community was simply brilliant! A great bunch of people.
Beyond comparison (the beta boards were testament to this..)

that is common practice on credits cards for them to charge a
fee for transactions in foreign currency, in your case from US$ to
GBP£. That £1 extra is from your credit card company not SOE.

I use the Power/Speed/Retaliate attacks all the time..

But I also use Precise Blow/Energised Attacks/Punishing Blows..

So I'll try switching them off..

I have Ki Charged Punch, and for ages now I haven't been able to stagger an opponent to use it..

I've tried dealing out all different types of attacks, but none work..

Anyone have any ideas? (I'm Karate MA btw..)
