Barloke came back to the game, and we made RCA with some of the still active members. Had to dissolve it due to some issues, so we made The Merovech Inc. Barloke is not currently subscribed, but we still have communication, I know he reads DN1.

Im still here. I just dont post much, dont care for forum cq, even though I visit Dn1 almost everyday. Like Jahzel said, doesn't matter if Im here or not, this thread has been very successful from my point of view. We don't have a merge, but that doesn't reflect the desire of a great part of the community.

Like I said before, I just have fun with what we currently have since we dont have a developer.  We dont even have an answer to our big question: WHAT WILL HAPPEN NOW TO MXO?

Its not that I feel defeated, is just that Real Life can be so stressful, that the least thing I want to do when I log to play, its to argue with SOE. So while we sit and wait, lets try to have fun and make the best of the $15 we pay a month. - Just my thoughts.

"Recursion is dead" is just a lame attempt by some Syntaxians to boost their own server population and convince themselves that their elitism is somehow backed by actual fact, or that there is some real difference between the servers.

I am from Recursion, and yeah, its dead.

Stop taking it as a server battle, and just try to see it as an opinion of some people that wish to improve (from their point of views) the game they play. I love Recursion, I have lots of good friends there, but like some, I wished to play on a more populated server. My intention isnt to sound harsh, but this post has the same tone as yours. No offense, but.. from what other perspective we can see it? WE ARE PLAYERS. Its a bit delusional to think that we cant ask for something cause "uhhhhh they will cut MXO's budget" ... What?! Our main developer just left, what else can they cut?

To be honest, I started this thread thinking that our opinions mattered somehow (call me naive)... but I know better now. Im not scared if SOE cuts (thats if your premise is true) another budget of MXO, cause what its keeping this game alive is ONLY THE COMMUNITY.

It has come to my attention by some low level who claims that is new to mxo, that the beta coat was placed in his inventory when he subscribed to the game (kinda like the Hyper Jump Beta). I was wondering, can this be true? If it is... where is my coat?

Its already well known that Recursion might as well be called Ripcursion... But I think that is just the start of something that will get bigger and uglier...

I agree with the OP's opinion. Everyone should be able to enjoy the storyline. Having to powerlevel to be able to participate takes away part of the fun.

You are generalizing, not everyone are the same. Some people from Syntax are rude too, and many are nice... cant jugde everyone for the action of others. People leave for many reasons...

Eval, im not sure i can give you the reasons here hehe. But Mxo isnt as populated as before... People are leaving and those that start new accounts prefer the server thats more active. I dont blame them.

...Its not about the server, cause we are simply not getting that many new subs. And its not about the new subs even. Its for saving those subs we already HAVE. Mxo is not having that many new subs... The way I see it its simple math: I prefer to save 20 50s that are devoted to the game and that cant play due to a dead server... than losing those 20 cause Im thinking of the possibility of some new sub. What image you think the new subs have when then enter Recursion? Yesterday a lowbie asked me about the game and why it was so empty... If they are trying out the game... let them have a server thats more active... Dont leave them with the impression that this game is comming to and end cause it has one dead server.. give em one or 2 busy servers.

anyways,can we get more of an answer? theres more than one way to do it i'm sure. hell i'm sure some will even pay a fee to have a char transfer option like i've seen on other soe games.

I think that's the issue. If recursion people arent given a choice soon, most of them will stop playing.... Maybe many of you think that wont make a difference... But im sure it will.

Im still asking myself why it has to be so hard to try to make a point here. If I want to make suggestions for the development of the game.. I post on Development Roundtable, as I did. I dont go searching for merge threads on a part of the forum where its dedicated to discuss tactics of combat (player vs player). Either way, THIS thread i think its very different from that one, or from other old ones. Why?

1)Because MXO is not what it was a year ago, some crazy people may think its growing but the fact is: its not, people are leaving actually.

2) Because Im not starting this thread with a "Im drooling just to think of the pvp". Nor Im trying to make this thread one of "you recursion poeple will be lambs here in pvp", or to discuss which server is better. This is a mature (hoping) thread, for the discussion of the QUALITY of the game, how to make it BETTER. Its not a syntax vs recursion vs vector thread. And if I feel that what I have to bring to the Roundtable is a new approach to see it, so be it, I pay for the game too and its my right to do it. And If I want to make it right, I do it myself.

I just want to make it fair for those who have a main character on a dead server, like myself. And by doing that we can actually have a better game, where time can be employed for a better development instead of making the same things for different servers (speacially when one of them is practically empty). By concentrating more on just one non hostile server, i think its a win-win situation.

Now, If you want to keep wasting this space by saying more than one time (spam?) that it is spam.... go ahead.

There are new people playing the game, and as time changes people minds can change too. Ive seen old posts and the approach is different, and Recusion is not as low as now. In many threads conversations changes topic because of this, because of graphics issues, or other topics (like spam) and nothing gets done. I hope de devs can tell us something about this, since many Recusion People are wondering about it. Its silly to post to say posting in it is spam.

Thats actually a good idea, more slots per server. Currently we have 2 servers with the same purpose, one of them practically dead, the other is Ok ... i think its the reasonable thing to do.

For those that didnt read the part... I KNOW ITS NOT A NEW IDEA...

But, Recursion's condition its now even worse. Plus... That can mean something, maybe the idea has been ignored many times.

Im sure this isnt a new idea... but given the circunstances Im posting it today. Im from Recursion, and its sad to see it always on Low, its almost dead, same few people. I made a new character on syntax, since its the only server (I know vector sometimes too) that reaches Medium. A lot of people from Recursion I know are doing the same, and we all feel the same way: "They should merge Syntax and Recursion". That way we can have our main characters together and do better RP, or involve more in the game. Whats the use of having a server on Low anyway? It would be fair for many people like me that have their main character on Recursion.
