If any British players tried /smoke 'ing in an enclosed public space, they'll get fined £50 or jail time.... Which would make an interesting emote...

Also, I missed the olden days when cartoon characters smoked:

Like we really need the papers saying MxO supports smoking.
In a game that promotes alcohol and drug usage by popping pills in order to obtain the abilities to engage the agents of authority with violent, terrorist attacks and mime acts, followed up by the gluttony of orgasmic cake while sniffing other's dogs… …I believe /smoke would be tame. heh heh
Well, considering the MPAA just added some new criteria to movie ratings, putting smoking on the list of things that would raise the rating (yeah, it's a dumb resolution: I guess that means that all those 1940s movies with stylish people smoking cigarettes are now R-rated. Considering the sheer number of cigarettes Keanu had to smke, what the yell would the rating be on "Constantine"? NC-17?), I would think that the ESRB would have to do the same ./smoke emotes. It's a nifty idea, but it would just get shot down by the politically correctness and the healthy habits police.
That's been around for quite a while, though. I actually had an "E" rated game that had an advisory that it contained "mild drug/alcohol/smoking usage" God forbid they crank this up to "M" for smoking, they could throw in all the blood and good words, instead of force-censoring live events where we see the word "assassin" turned into "******in".
But ZOMG smoking kills you, that's immitatible!
Not if you have some good *CENSORED* common sense. And if you don't - why, that's just natural selection.
In closing, /smoke would be cool, but if we get an animator, it's low on the list of what's needed
There is no lung cancer....
