Actually, to me the whole point of this thread is being missed. For one, the bet was for 500 million Information. To me, that is alot of money for a Hacker to be throwing around. That tells me he was pretty darn confident that he had his build perfected. They had dueled twice that I know of before I even recored that last duel, the other two duels ended in a draw. All in all, it was a good duel and it drew a crowd on Recursion. Anyone who was just passing through stopped to watch the fight, including myself.

This was a Duel between Craftzee and Overlord on the Recursion server for 500 million Information! Overlord is a Virologist and Craftyzee was using MA. Great fight worth watching. This is a download from my personal FTP server, safe from any computer funnies. Promise http://infinity-8ofcoh.com/Video/MatrixFight.wmv If you want the crappy version (Which I do not recommend, but I know how some people hate downloading stuff for better quality...) then here is a link to Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cr9fJb2dvGk P.S. I could not find any better suited place to post this, so if this is the wrong place, I hope that it will be moved to the correct forum. Thanks.

I have looked at Override and noticed that his shirt is shiny like velvet, pitch black and does not tuck in. A friend and I have searched a bit and came up with other shirts that did not tuck in, but they were not even close to his. The dress shirt tucks in The Pizzaz shirt tucks in The Streta Silk Shortsleeve shirt does not tuck in, but it has an extra pattern on it and I can not find it in pitch black....I have a black one, but it is more closer to grey than anything else. The Yoshi Dragon shirt tuck out, but they do not come in all black (that I know of) and have that silly design on them. So what gives? Anyone have any idea if I can get a shirt like Override's? If so, who drops them for loot? Thanks in advanced. P.S. Please do not tell me that his shirt is an NPC exclusive?

Just a quick heads up, Ghost needs his head examined and fixed. On a more serious note, his bald head matched the rest of his body before yesterday's patch, but now his head is discolored with his face. Looks like you can actually see the lines in his head as well. For the record, I play with all graphics on full blast and have a pretty decent system.

When you walk out of the Uriah Hardline for the firs time, you meet none other than a simulacrum of Dozer. He stands to the left of Clio, as he is Clio's new Simulacrum. When you click on him, he says, "Hello, red pill. I am a simulacrum of a great man known as Dozer, a monument of sorts. As I am sure you are aware, you are no longer plugged into the Matrix. You are no longer a 'Copper Top." You now are a part of something much larger than yourself, as are all the other red pills that dwell among the Matrix. Sometimes new red pills have a hard time adjusting to the Matrix, sometimes they even feel lost. If this happens to you, then I know of this nice little hang out where other red pills like yourself, congregate for social gathering. If you feel lost, or feel you could use a helpful insight concerning the Matrix, then head over to the Mara Central Hardline. Once you get there, you will find people like yourself who can show you 'just how deep the rabbit hole goes.' I suggest you get moving, hanging around me is not going to earn you experience. Good luck, red pill." Thoughts?

I had the same problem, except I learned the higher level you get, and the more abilities from your tree of choice you indulge into, the less it happens. Eventually you will replace your old specials for your new ones. Once this happens, you will hardly ever leave your Kung Fu stance. So it gets better as you level up.

I do not recall anyone sending me to meet Sister Margret. I ran missions like anyone else would, and I honestly can not recall anyone sending me there. I had to find her on my own....and that was pure chance because I like to explore alot. Even so, what you said is also a good solution to the problem...and probably alot cheaper to add a greeter rather than changing a map layout.

I have been playing this game for almost three weeks now. I have been playing long enough to reach level (almost) 33 and have gotten to know quite a few people in this game. Made some friends, am part of the Brethren Faction, and have grown to love this game more than any other MMO I have ever played. I have extreme experience in MMO's, I understand and pick up on game mechanics extremely fast, I have a natural understanding of MMO's in general. But that's just me.... Ever since I have been playing this game and saved up quite a bit of cash through hefty looting, working the markets, and just conserving my Info when I can, I came to a point where I had enough Info that I felt comfortable enough to buy tons of Trench Coats for males and females. What do I do with all of these Trench Coats you ask? I give them away to any new player that enters this game for the first time as a "Welcome to the game" gift. By doing this, I have many many many conversations with people who just logged in for the first time or people who have only logged on a couple times. Hang tight, this is necessary in getting to my point.... After talking to numerous people who have just started playing the game, I came to realize that they most often think they are alone in this game. They think this game is dead and that only a hand full of people play it. One guy I talked to was even *just* about ready to quit the game, because in his nine levels of playing, I was the first person he had seen in the game. He was under the assumption that this game was dead, and he was all alone....Not good. I can understand why though. I recently came from another game called City of Heroes/Villains. In that game, when you first come out of the tutorial, you come to a place where massive amounts of people like to hang out. The first thing you see is people holding costume contests, socializing, showing off emote binds, so on and so forth. It shows the new players that the game is not only populated, but players do more in the game than just running missions. Players know that they are not alone, and thus stay in the game. My proposal? Simple. Give Uriah a makeover. Make it a place where people actually want to be. Give it a wide open space where people can PvP. Add benches where people can sit. Give it a nice little place where people can dance. Make it the place everyone wants to be. Make it a place that will encourage players to hang out, this way if new players have questions, they are right where they need to be to get them answered. This game can be very confusing when you first start, and with nobody around to answer questions, it leaves you unguided and lost. Make Uriah the place to be. This way, when somebody logs on the game for the very first time, they know that they are not alone in the game. They will stay longer than a few levels and may even decide to stay long enough to see "Just how deep the rabbit hole goes." This game has so much potential it is not even funny. But to see the potential of the game, you have to level beyond level ten. Best way to get people to want to level past ten, is let them see the people who also play the game. Let the players take control over the events, put them in a place where newer players can see them. Put them in a place where new players can see all the eye candy of the rewards the higher levels have reaped through their hard work and patience. It will give new players something to look forward to, and it will make the community larger. The game will increase in player numbers, and the game will be alot more social. I believe if this were to happen, this games population would drastically increase. Thanks for any opinions and feedback...be it positive or negative.

I just recently came from another very popular game that tried to nerf travel powers in PvP. The end result was disastrous. Most of the PvP population quit the game, leaving the games PvP virtually dead. Part of PvP is moving freely, just as you would in real life. The locked mêlée aspect of PvP in this game is tolerable, but to nerf anyones means of movement in PvP would end up with alot of people quite upset. No offense when I say this....Bad idea.

OMG...I feel like an idiot. I read the top of that before posting yesterday, and when I read it, I had saw it saying that the beard colors are the same as the hair colors. Not that the hair color of the chart represents the number tag for the facial hair colors. Sorry about that.

Yeah, unfortunately the first place I checked was the market on our server. I started off on Syntax, but was greeted by a player on Recursion, so I had moved and made my main character there. I have put in well over 12 hours on looting and have an inventory full of everything but the ones I want, haha. Just my luck!

Quick question in regards to facial styles and hair colors for men. Is hair color #3 and facial style #4 the two hardest RSI Pills to obtain? I am getting everything *but* those two pills. I am getting stacks of everything but those two pills. I am hitting all around them, but never getting those. Am I just happening to be picking the two most difficult drops to obtain?

Ok, I have searched and searched and have found no answer. What number tag goes with what color? I want the color black for my hair, but can not find what number tag is for Black. I have been in the High School basement farming for the past 2 hours and here is what I have so far... 9 Female Hair Color #12's 3 Male Hair Color #11's 2 Female Hair Color #11's. All of which look brown in the picture. So, what number is tagged for Black?

You know, there sure are alot of doom sayers out there. But let me tell ya, I happen to be on a server that is one of the least populated, and I must say, I meet new players every single day. In a ten minute time, I watch at least two to three new players walk through that first HL. How do I know that they are new and not somebody's alt? Simple, I ask. Then when they tell me that they are new, I hook the males up with a trench, and the females up with a choice of a catsuit or trench. This game may have lost the original flavor, but it is by no means doomed to die or fade anytime soon. I came from playing City of Heroes/Villains, played that game for four and a half years. I left that game to play this one. And I have discovered my new MMO of choice, The Matrix Online. Rarebit is leaving this game, and I am sad to hear that. I have missed all of the great things he has done for this game. But it does not mean that another can not pick up where he has left off. That does not mean that the game has come to a screeching halt that will abruptly end life as we know it in this game. It simply means that a very talented writer has moved on. Leave if you must, as you have put in your time and country to this great game. Would have been nice to meet you before you have come to the point of making yourself absent from this game. But life goes on, this game will go on, and new players will Jack-in for the first time on a daily basis to replace the old players. I was a vet of the game I came from to be a newbie on a new game. I am sure the very day I started playing, I replaced a vet of this game who had left. Just as I am sure a new player had replaced me, the very day I left the game I was a vet on. Life goes on, this game will go on. P.S. Sorry to see you go, Rarebit. It would have been nice to experience the game with you behind the helm. I am sure you have your reasons for leaving, I only hope that who-so-ever replaces you, will be half as talented behind the pen as you are. Peace.

I have done a bit of testing lately. At level 22 I jump for a total distance of 78 Meters. At level 23 I jumped for a total of 80 meters. And now, at level 24, I am still jumping for a total of 80 meters. When I was level 22, I had a hat that granted 20 points of jumping, when that hat was on, I was jumping for 80 meters. When it was off, I was back at 78 meters. Unless the cap raises as you level (Like some games it does) then it would be safe to say that 80 meters is that cap distance, and can be achieved at level 23. Unfortunately, you have to have a minimum of 25 points spent in it in order to obtain Hyper Speed. So already, you are slightly forced to waist 2 points spent in Hyper Jump, that will already be capped at 23 points. Can anyone confirm or disprove this please? Disproving me is highly welcome here. I would feel much better if somebody could prove me wrong.

I just started playing this game, as long as more people join as I did, this game is going nowhere. I plan to make movies using FRAPS and putting this game out there for people to see to help draw in more customers. And I can tell you, I'm pretty darn good at it. This game is going nowhere. It is here to stay and so am I.

Was curious, a discussion came up today concerning the possible max distance and hight of Hyper Jump and trying to figure out the cap to those variables. For example: 30 Points + 20 Points from stat clothing = 50 total points. But at what point does it become pointless? For example: *if* 40 points maxes out the distance + Hight, then 10 of those points are useless and better off being spent elsewhere. Does anyone know the cap on the points concerning Hyper Jump?

More like me in Kentucky On Syntex right now playing as CyberCasket (Darn those names that can not be two parted) as it was the server that was most full. I like population, so I picked that server. Got your myspace page down on my Desktop. I'll spend a little time there during server maintenances and such. Thanks for the warm welcome all. This is a great game and am happy to play it. Looking forward to getting that Jump power that somebody mentioned...haha, I bet I will need it! Look me up in game if you play that server, will be looking for a (Crew?) guild and be happy to work my way up the ranks. See ya soon!
Awesome. What part of Kentucky? I'm from Tennessee myself, but I'm from a town right near the TN/KY border.
Right on the Louisville, Shepherdsville border.
So far, (with a special thanks to PS10N for showing me a bit about some of the more complicated aspects of the game) I am sitting at level 10, grinding missions to that next level. The Jump power is so fitting of this game. Loving it! Looking forward to getting high enough level for the construct. Watching you people PvP is alot of fun too. A man can get lost in his own mind trying to figure out what is going on, but it sure looks like fun with the light show and special effects the high levels have to play with. Gives a man something to look forward to.

Hello. My name is Cyber Casket and I have been watching alot of Youtube lately. One thing that caught my attention is that some of you believe this game is on its way out. I do not wish to see this happen, as Matrix Online is not a bad game and deserves to stay alive. So I decided to cancel my account with another game that I had been playing for over four years, and start playing this game to help keep it alive. I have played this game once before about a year ago, but at that time, I was not ready to leave my other game. But now, as all things must do, it is time for a change, and MxO is the next stop in my gaming evolution. I am hear to play the game, have fun, meet new people and give the game my support to keep this game jacked in. Sorry if my information about the game is incorrect, but even if it is incorrect, I am here to stay. See ya in game!
